will 99.5-04 radios fit in the 97-99s?

just like it says, ive got access to a nice touch screen from an 04 qx4 and would like to know if the newer radios will work and also what is involved in getting the gps to work

Not without a lot of work. There are several different systems too... Clarion vs Bose, etc. It would be easier and cheaper to go aftermarket.
