Will 93 fenders fit on a 89??

I bought my 240 about 3 months ago. I have not done much except for a new clutch and a stereo system. When i got it the left front fender was smashed in and the front bumper is also cracked and just worn out looking. My friend is swaping a siliva front clip and i am thinking about buying the front bumper and fenders off of him. The only problem is his is a 93 hb and mine is an 89 hb. Will his front bumper and front fenders fit on my 240?

Yes they will fit but there is a trim peice on the fender that will have to be removed. Also when you remove that peice you will expose 2 holes that hold it on. Have someone weld those holes closed and you will be good to go. I just put '89 fenders on my '93.

We should have traded. It would have been less work for both of us. lol

The whole 93 front end is a direct bolt on. you dont have to remove that piece with the 2 holes if you are getting the 93 bumper as well. In fact, you need that piece for the 93 bumper to b lend with the fenders.

Oh ya your right. I miss read the post. He should no problem at all with that front-end swap.
