will 5mm spacers help me not to rub?

Two questions:

1) Is it practical to run 225-50-16 on all 4 wheels? I know many people have wider rear and thiner front but I think I'd really want the ability to rotate the tires to even down tire wear.

2) ChunkiDori has informed me that the 225-50-16 might rub on coilovers and will probably also do the same for my setup. (Yes I should have gotten better wheels, that's why I'm kicking myself in the *** right now.) Will 5mm spacers on all 4 wheels be enough to clear the tires/wheels for my suspension?
