it should, but maybe a slight thicker than normal, the M sports are 19s with 245/40/19 tires

You'll be just outside of the Radial size that's programmed into our ECU's. It will throw codes and your ABS,Traction control and Speedo will be off by just a bit. Just get new tires, it'll be a safer bet.

On the other hand you may want to just stay with your 18s

I dont think it will throw any codes unless its the sport model and even then I dont think so. My evo will because of the AWCS but my M does not.

I am running 225/35R20 and 245/35R20. And with the stretch up front, I can tell you I am outside of the programmed radius

You're actually within . 18" 245/45, 19" 245/40, 20" 255/35 are all within spec with very slight variances. I think you're ok if you're between 0.7+\-
