I've been searching and searching and from what I see, I'm thinking it isn't possible but please someone tell me I can do it because I want them really bad.

I have a buddy that will sell me his 3 piece Racing Hart wheels for real cheap but want to know what I have to do to get these babies to fit. It is the fronts that I'm worried about. I'm thinking a wider front fender is in order. While I was searching I saw a guy with an S14 say that he had some 17x10s in the rear with 275s and had no problems (with a spacer I'd imagine). Help me out here :)

These 18x7.5s aren't doing my car any justice.:help

He's your buddy right? Put them on your car and go from there....

yeah try them on to be certain, but it with a high offset like 44 with wide wheels, i would think it would rub the suspension peices. Dont quote me on it, im no offset guru.

In the back of our supra we have a 9.5" wide wheel. I tried it on my 240 (it was 4x114.3 and 5x114.3 lug pattern). The offset was + and it stuck out of the fender about 1 inch. I don't think you could fit a 18x10 in the rear without it rubbing unless you have a wide body kit or over fenders. Then again, the only tru way to know is to test it. Same goes for the front.

The largest width I know of anyone running is a 8" in the front and a 9" in the rear.

Bah that sucks, no way those 9s are going to fit up front I would say then

I swear I am bound to not find some wide a** rims that fit on the back of my car.

I think a 9" wheel should be wide enough. You can put a 255 on it, but Mattback (the one with the 17x 8/17x9 setup) plans on using a 275 in the back.

there is a guy with 17x10's in the back and 17x8's in the front. well he used to come here. He said he chose his offset in the back carfully and cut a little piece of his coilovers off in the back. so 10's fit but it's close....

Like I said, it's not the back that I'm worried about, it is the fronts I'm worried about. 9 inches up front would be beastly. I wouldn't really care if they stuck out an inch or so but I don't want to roll Mexican 13" deep dish style.:ylsuper

Well he is my friend but he doesn't live around here, that is why I haven't tried them on for fitment issues. So this is either I buy them and sell them if they don't fit or pass. I am about to buy them, and get the GTP wide fenders for up front and the Do-Luck rear fender flares. Although my kit is molded to the car, it is going to be a hella pain in the a** now.

Skip on this one. It may be a good deal on the wheels, but it sounds like it isn't worth the hassle. You said yourself that it is going to be a pain in the A** now. What person puts himself in a position to be troubled further? You KNOW you're gonna be dumping money into the body. Is this really where you want your money going?

Skip on the absurdly wide wheels, and the excess body mods. These cars are capable of handling well, and don't need widebody kits or 10" wide wheels to do it.

whoa, beat me to the post!I second that. "a wider tire does not mean better handling"-chet
