will 01-02 qx4 headlights fit on a 99

i have a 99 qx4 and i like the look of one piece headlights so i was wondering if the 01-02 qx4 headlights would fit on my year or is there a company that makes them for the qx4?

this is such a common question lol the verdict...it can be done...but you need:

the OEM headlights, HID ballasts, grille, hood, bumper, and fenders....

if you want it that bad just trade your q for the 01+ and youll get the better motor, and upgraded interior

I was already thinking about the possibility of that upgrade too for my '98...haha. Didnt realize you'd have to change out so many other things. At that point I would aim for getting the newer Q.

yeah its a bit much. you can get away with the 99 bumper ive seen it done but the fenders and grille must be changed and the hood is a maybe. the 01+ lights dont look that great with our bumper.....the fog light and turn signal is too much bulbage. I tinted my turn signals...what a difference, much more agressive look

if you're starting off with a qx4 97-00 you don't need new fenders hood or bumper

You will need the headlights and ballasts ofcourse but your biggest pain will be cutting out the radiator core support to make the '01 lights to fit as they are much bigger and deeper.

Then there is wiring, brackets, trimming the stock grille and that's most of it right there

It looks great but it isn't simple
