My wife loves my M however she parks really poorly and scraped my rim. Is it possible to have a rim refinished? or am I looking for a new one for my 06 M35xThey are not chrome but the standard rim Thx

It can be repaired - for around $100 depends on how bad it is and where it is located on the rim. Good luck!

But the permanent solution will be: don't let the wife drive it.

You can definitely get the rim fixed. I kinda curb checked my right front in NY the week I got my M35 and will be bringing it to Wheel Works here in MD. You just drop off the rim to them and they do their thing.

Depending where you're from, I would definitely do some research on a reputable place.

Goodluck!

You can get the wheel repaired (providing she didn't gouge the living daylights out of it) and repainted, however there is no exact match for the factory wheel paint in the good ol' USA because the paint is lead based and can't be imported. A good repair shop can get close, but I've always been able to tell the difference in sunlight.

I scraped my two right side wheels a little recently so I'll be looking to have them smoothed out when I get new tires. Anyone know of a good place in Atlanta to do that?

Infiniti of Gwinnett fixed the wheels on my 2004 G35 Coupe when I had it. They sent the wheels out to someone though. If you called them and asked for a recommendation on wheel repair I'm sure they would provide you with the info. They did a good job on the repair, but as I indicated the paint didn't match exactly. If I had held onto the car longer I think I would have had the wheels chromed.

Try Wheel Collision Center in Bath, PA. They will refinish your wheels for about $200. -$250.00. Dealer gets $937. for a new replacement wheel 19 inch 5 double spoke OEM rim. Their site is:http://www.wheelcollision.com/wccnvent.html

Another is the following:

They do excellent work as well.
