A couple weeks ago while geting turning on an off ramp i noticed my front left wheel was makeing these scrapeing noise. Ive also notice that it only makes a noise if i am takeing a left hand turn. Other than the sound there is no diferance in driveing or ne vibraton to the stearing wheal. What could this be I wasnt to fix it before It causes me any more problems.

I recently purchased a 95 240 and I notice that it makes humming sound when I'm driving. The humming is coming from the front drivers side wheel. But when I tilt the steering wheel to the passenger side a bit. The humming goes away. I checked to see if possibly the wheel or something is rubbing. And it wasn't. I'm not sure what to make of it. It is very annoying. And the only way that I can cancel out the humming is to turn the radio up . I would really like to figure this out. Thanks. I'm new to the forum and figured that this went along with the previous question.

Check you power steering fluid. I had the same problem when I first got my 240 and the power steering fluid reservoir was bone dry. Just remember if it needs filling to use ATF(automatic transmission fluid).

And to the second poster, might be a wheel bearing. See if you can move the wheel in and out by hand if its off the ground. If its constant I'd consider getting it checked out.
