wierd thing happend

ok so last night i washed the engine polished the car scrubed all the dirt of the rims etc while i was at it i desided to listen to some music so well u know what happent next the battery drained charged it up for about 10 minurtes than put charger on boost started it drove around for 15-20m minutes lights got dim and car stolled got it towed home charged the battery over night in the morning started the car the battery light came on reved it up light went away drove to work and now i am curious to how come my ca=r didn't work i thought it was alternator but today i am driving fine !:thinker

Might have gotten some water or something on some of the electrical components and it took sitting overnight to dry out. Gotta be careful when cleaning under the hood.
