So my tach is calibrated correctly for the RB. The tach goes up to 3500rpm then it stops reading. The needle just stays there. Any ideas?

How did you calibrate it? This is for your RB25 s14 right?

Tach reads perfectly accurate below 3500rpm. once it gets to 3500rpm the tach just stops. If i rev the car at idle it hits a slow hesitation around 3200rpm then goes to 3500 and stops. Mckinney did the wiring so i doubt there is a problem there. Is there a way to check the tach?
