So I changed my thermostat and got a coolant flush(with the machine). Checked the fan to see if the clutch is fine and it is and then checked the radiator for leaks and nothing. when it is warming up or idling its not overheating but after 3-5 mins. of driving it shoots up and if I hit the gas to go faster it comes back to normal...on the breaks stopped at a light it slowly creeps back up untill i hit the gas again. I am confused out of my mind and no idea what to do next. Please HEELLPP!!!

This is a classic symptom of air in the cooling system. Did you take the 'burp screw' out when you filled the system? If not then you have a ton of air trapped in there. Even with the screw out this is not the easiest engine in the world to get the air out of.

Yes the screw was taken out before re-filling the system..and I tried to burp the radiator by opening the cap and sqeezing the inlet rad hose and I did see bubbles coming out..after a while of doing that no more bubbles came out. I warmed it up again and drove it for about 5-6 mins. and the dam thing overheated again. After I parked it, it started going down...I have to drive to work tomorrow(50mile commute) and i need to fix this tonight...any input would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

park car on steep hill with rad cap and relief valve open. interior heater on. run car for 15 minutes. repeat if necessary. squeezing the hose achieves nothing.

If you do what vancouver said (hah...slick. i never thought of parking on an incline myself) and you still overheat, you may want to have your car tested for a blown head gasket. They don't always give you the telltale smoke. Shops don't usually charge much to have this done, nor is it invasive.
