wierd noise from back tires???

ok so i just bought this 93 240 hb with a 2 way limited slip but when i make like slow turns it makes a popping noise where the rear tires are and its loud any idea what it could be??? please help

Sounds like your lsd might be going out, when my friends was going out out it would make weird popping noises whenever he made slow turns.

pull the pan and take a peek , rear ends are simple to service

drain fluid from rear diff add good fluid a LSD additive go to dirt parking lot drive in figure 8's for about 15 minutes SLOWLY if this doesn't help needs new cluthes in diff.. Good luck
