Wierd MAF question....

Is the MAFs ground on the exhaust side on the back of the motor? If so, I repaired it and my car is still running funny. The ECU checks out 55 and I was messing with the MAF and put my hand inside the tunnel part and the idle went up. Is that an idication of something besides that the MAF is working? Thanks for any feedback.

the MAF is grounded at the ECU. For the future, don't put your hand inside of the MAF. You could screw up the heat exchange film that measures how much air is coming in.
