Wierd idle problem

So I replaced my T25 today since the original one blew, and now it kind of surges. goes from 1.5 to 2K rpm, then drops back down to 1.5. And I got quite a bit of blue smoke coming out the back. No, I only hand turned to the O2 sensor back, could this be affected? Could I have bumped the MAF good enough to throw it off? Doesn't feel as strong as it used to also.
