wierd happenings...

I was just driving the Silvia to the store for milk and I was at about 5K rpm in a 3rd gear pull and heard a big pop like something hit the underside of the car...I looked in my rearview mirror and saw what I thought was a rock fly out from under the Silvia.. about 500 feet after this happened my car lost all power?? The motor has good oil pressure and doesnt overheat, stock boost. The revs dropped to zero and it died, now when I turn the key, I have power but when I turn the key to crank it, nothing. When I say nothing I mean absolutely nothing?? WTF!! I think that my starter may have fallen off. I am going to try and push start the car to see if thats the issue, if not, any suggestions to where I start looking?? thanks

Havent had any issues with this car/motorset at all, I hope its something simple....

got it straigtened out, LOL...It turns out that the rock skipped up and knocked off the ground to the starter....thanks mike!!!!
