WIERD CLANK

My engine bogs when im idling and my engine is vibrating and here a clank like something is lose in my engine bay, i can't find what it is.. also sometimes when i shift from 1st - 2nd it clanks and sometimes from 2nd - 3rd.. anyone know what it is?

just a thought, check your engine mounts. you should have two on either side of the motor. if they're rotted and falling apart, then it's time for some new ones! they're maybe 50-60 bucks each? i would go for stiffer than softer, if you have a choice (and IF that's the problem).

mine were 100% rotted through; that's just....... bad.

have you tried lifting the engine up a little bit recently (like jacking under the oil pan)?

deffinetally sounds like the noise and shaking is a bad mount ( either transmission or engine) The bogging is most likely a seperate issue
