wierd brake light problem

this is for the brake light on the gauge cluster, the warnin light

wen the key is in, the light is off, when i remove the key the light is on.

i dont want this to drian my battery, so i will atleast remove the buld, but i would like to solve the problem instead of covering it up.

i have tried remoinv the battery and pluging it back in, as well as messing with ebrake sensor and master clyinder plug.

Did you ever figure this out?? My car is doing the same thing.
