We (me and my brother) just got around installing an AEM UEGO wideband on his JDM Silvia.

The readings that we have are weird ( to say the least). Being an SRT guy, they knock me off but we talked to a fellow SR20DET owner and he says they look normal.

Now, here is it. At WOT: around 13.2, at idle and cruise: over the AEM chart (more than 17).

Isnt that lean ?

The car pulls fine, doesnt hesitate...

I searched and found some possible options: exhaust leak (will have to check for that).

The car is running around 9psi of boost, no gas management, 3'' complete exhaust without cat.

It also runs a Blitz BOV vented to the atmosphere (moreover: the stock surge valve has been removed - all pipes are capped off).

Anybody can tell us if those readings are right ? If they are, is there any other wideband able to display them (since the AEM cannot show over 17, that is getting way annoying)...

Nobody is using the AEM Uego on an SR20DET ?

Nobody has an idea how to have it read the full A/F spectrum of that engine or which one to get to have that feature ?

Any exhaust leak before the wideband o2 will throw off the reading. So first off, check all flanges for leaks.

As far as what a/f should be, at wot your should be running 11.5 - 11.0:1. Some people tune to 12:1, but that's too risky to me. At idle, 14.7:1. At cruise, I'm still learning about that.

But you said he's not using any fuel management. I'm not sure what nissan uses for its stock a/f on the sr20. But there are quite a few things that can cause it to run lean.
