Really, to be honest, a 225 is the max you'll want to put on it. Anything more is just going to look stupid, handle floppy, and be more expensive than necessary. Even a 225 is probably too big. A smaller, stickier tire is gonna be your best bet if you want grip.

I know this is a kouki, but this guy has 245's on his s14 SE wheels. They're monstrous. And not in a good way. zerothread?id=377374

if i recall the OEM tire size is a 205, so you would only be adding 10mm of width and slightly taller (depending on your aspect ratio) it should be fine.

I believe on the early model SE"s the tire size is 195/60/15 if he was to go with a wider tire his best bet would be a 215/50 or a 225/45 to keep the diameter of the tire the same as factory spec. You need to plus size your tires to keep your speedo correct .

A 215/50 will be too small, he would be better off with a 55 At 60mph his speedo will show 59.7 mph with the 55, and 61.9 with a 50

The 50 is 3.1% smaller and the 55 is 0.4% larger...

If he used a 225/45 it would be even smaller, 63.2 at 60 and 5.13% smaller.

So your best off with a 215/55/15.
