wideband?

i was wondering if i could run a wideband o2 on my stock ka24e so i can monitor my afr. anyone know?

you can run a wideband on your weed eater if you wanted to. if your all stock then that is a waste of money if you think you have a fuel ratio problem try doing a complete tune up remove your old azz cat and either replace it or say screw it, replace your o2 sensors and the ecu with one you know works properly. that all would be cheaper then a decent wide band. but if you just want the gauge for the whoa factor and to watch the lights change colors in the dark then do you and dont let anyone tell you different

well im eventually boosting it so i think it can be used later

If your planning on boosting and find a deal you can't pass up then by all means buy it but if your just gonna drop 250 on a gauge now then I would invest in something else first. An afr gauge is really only necessary when your motor isn't stock. Whether its boosted or high compression if you just have basic bolt ons or nothing at all there really is no reason at this time to own one. Just my 2 coppers.
