A lot of people have been asking about them, so here's the COMPLETE system including O2 sensor for dirt cheap. www.ka24de.com

yea thats a good deal. i like how u can switch it over to a 1V reading so u can use it for the narrow band reading for the ecu.

You can do both simultaneously; wideband reading and 0-1V narrowband reading. That way you can feed the narrowband signal to the ECU, while you tune with the wideband.

If you know how to solder and put chips together id check out the tech-edge DIY kit. you can pretty much get everything including wires, computer, and display for about $150. you just have to take the time to solder everything together. this is prolly what i will get.

The TE unit does not work with all sensors such as NTK, etc..., but only with the Bosch LSU4. Also, the TE unit is not able to self-calibrate like the LM-1 unit can.

In addition, the TE DIY is $251 (not $150) with the display, O2 sensor from VW, connector, and WB unit with cable. Then you have to solder it together. There's a significant chance for problems if you're not experienced at this. Then you have to calibrate it.

There's just too much room for error in my opinion, and it's a long wait to receive the unit from Australia. The TE ready-built unit would be much better then the TE DIY unit (for the unexperienced) , but then the cost is high too.

For $349 shipped, the LM-1 is a self-calibrating, complete system that is fully built in the factory. Is is complatible with ANY wideband sensor. Also, the LM-1 was actually compared side by side with the Horiba WB system (which costs a few thousand dollars), and it was absolutely DEAD ON accurate with it.

I'd purchase the unit if I just had the cash. I'm pretty sure it'll pay by itself from not having to pay dyno time everytime you tune your car.
