wideband o2 question

i need a wideband o2 and am not sure its worth the money for my one time use. i just need it to adjust my map enough to get it to a dyno. i was wondering if some one might want to go in on a unit or a kind soul might let me rent one from them. i am locvated in atlanta and in need in some help. email me at [email protected]

You already have a decent base map, don't you? The calculated values for your 440's, should get you to the dyno. If you have a map good enough to put it on a dyno and start tuning, then you should be able to drive there safely. Just make sure you stay below 3000 rpm and don't drive it hard. Might be a good idea to let it warm up good first, also. Then the closed-loop will take over and hopefully keep you running right around lambda = 1.0.

How far away is the shop with the dyno?

hey i live in the atlanta area and am looking to get a wideband if you pay a certain percentage then ill go in with you and also were are you planning on taking your car for tuning

Get one anyway. After having one I can't imagine not. Aside from tuning, it keeps you informed about what is happening with your motor and can help diagnos problems.

http://www.zeitronix.com/ Here is what I got. Don't have the PDA software tho. Good for wideband and egt and boost rolled into 1. Also a data logger.

the zeitronix looks like a cool unit, but i forgot that my map-ecu will display with a wideband hooked up( with the help of a laptop that is)

i guess i will order a sensor and hook up a laptop to see.
