A Nismo FPR is not a tuning tool.

11.8:1 is good; but ideal AFR varies from engine to engine.

ideal on these motors is 12:1, make good power without much problem with detonation, but running afr's like that requires an egt gauge go make sure you dont have too much ignition.it also depends on ambient temp as that will drasticaly change the tune...so in reality anywhere from 11.5-12.3:1 is safe.ive found that on nissans if the afr dives past 10.3:1 the mixure wont ignite and will just blow out spark...not fun.

+1 for the spark blow out.

ive always tuned to the area of 11.5:1. ill never go over 12 just because at wot you are most prone to detonation and rod knock and all that bad crap, and i just err on the safe side to compensate in variances in atmospheric pressure, gas quality, etc. thats just my rule of thumb. for instance, my srt runs 22lb of boost and i see 11.6:1 in fourth gear (thats the highest i go wot) and it drives every day without a hitch. that is what i do.
