wideband install

i just picked up an AEM UEGO. i was talking to my friend and he suggested i take my stock 02 sensor out, put the wideband in there, and tap the signal wire from the engine harness to the wideband. would this work?i was searching and i found that you want it about 36 inches down the exhaust.

Add another bung and go to there web site it will tell you were and how far to put it down stream from turbo .if you have a aem ems you can if you tune it for the wide band .which you can find that info on there web site also .

i dont suggest replacing your stock O2 with the wideband, just get the bung welded near the end of your downpipe.
