so im nearing the compleation of my ka-t but one thing came to my attention. my waste gate is dumped seperately, in the the atmosphear, than to my exhaust sytem. I was wondering if it will effect my readings? I just want some reasurance.

No, it doesn't matter. The WBO2 doesn't read the total oxygen count in the exhaust, but rather samples how many oxygen parts per million.

Hope this helps.

Also think of it this way - the air is split into two areas, post turbo. That means the same a:f mix is flowing out both tubes, just in different volumes. Theoretically, you could put the O2 in the dump tube and it would give accurate readings, but ONLY when the wg is open

Now if it were a V with exhasts for each cylinder banks, that would be different.

CN: chemical mixture doesn't change with an external dump, only volume
