Hello all. I'm wanting to get one of the two. The AEM UEGO or the LM-1 wideband. . . . I've seen both and am more leaned towards the LM-1 becuase I know that it is digital. Is the UEGO digital too? The car it'll go in is a '90 240 with a RB25 w/bpu's. Also getting the AEM EMS and MSD DIS4.

whatever you can get for cheaper. both good. nice thing about aem is it can calibrate itself to whatever 02 sensor you want

IIRC the aem ems has the wideband built into it.......so buying another wideband would be redundant.

Carl, they CAN come with the same AEM UEGO mentioned here as an option at additional cost -- Hence the part numbers like 30-1611 and 30-1611(U).

I have an LM-1 but never used the AEM unit so I can't help...

huh if thats the case the just go with that, again why buy something redundant.besides with the built in aem one you can be assured you can use it with the aem software and it will work with the setup.

That's not true.. it's easy to set up any WBO2 with the AEM. The uego is a waste of money when something cheaper like an LC-1 will do the same job.

I like my PLX as well, I've got the one with the gauge. PLX also has a wireless version which is pretty sweet. Gauge or digital readouts are avalible

You can set any sensor you want for any system as long as you have a calibration table.

I've had a the LM-1 for a little more than a year now. Gone through a BOSCH sensor or 2 (they are only like $50,same O2 sensor at a Beetle_.The LM-1 is a good prices, User Friendly, and the best bang for the buck.

all these widebands are ones that come with a readout right?

your aem can take care of that. just get a sensor and save some money.

iirc it even has a 0-5volt output. so u can even attach a gauge to the aem.

at worse, you can set up an output configuration to turn a light on when you reach a certain afr and when you fall below a certain afr

TechEdge used to be a good deal before the dollar went south. Now the exchange rate is so bad that even the basic TechEdge kit costs more than the LC-1. Also, TechEdge uses some stupid calibration scheme that is totally unnecessary and is not required for most other widebands.

I use both of them all the time

AEM - does not read under 11.00 afr+ easier to setup in the ems software+ easier to install and calibrate

Innovate LM1- big bulky box+ full calibrateable output, so works really good with aem- no gauge readout

Innovate LC1+ fully calibrateable gauge ( colors and digits)+ really easy to see, not like LM1+ works VERY good with aem ems- kind of pain to setup properly, but once it is done, it is awesome+ gauge is thin and light, so really easy to mount

We have been installing a lot of LC1 kits lately with AEM and Autronic ecus.

I got the LC-1 with XD-1 gauge.Took me 2 days trying to figur eotu how to wire it.Tried to figure out how to use it in my stock 02 location and fake the signal to my ecu. No one knew how.So I decided to take it upon myself and use my best judgement on wiring. And it works great. Just wish I knew how accurate it is.

somewhat off topic, but amonst these choices, are they all the same bung size? I would like to buy a bung and get it welded into my downpipe now. I would buy the sensor at a later date. Anyone know the size?
