Okay so when I get a 240, I really want to do a wide body kit. But I absolutely hate the look of the rivets. It looks so bad to me, I like clean even lines. I would like it to look as if was stock to the untrained eye. That being said, do they have wide body kits without having to rivet them? I've heard of some people welding them on sometimes, but is it metal or fiberglass? Also, is there a way to sand down the edges or something to make it look flush? I don't like the raised edge either. I just want the body to seem wider without it looking like there is obviously some body kit on it. I want it to look as clean and oem as possible, but still be wide. Does something like this even exist? Or would I have to experiment and find the solution on my own?

Or could I bondo the edges to make it flush? Just trying to get some ideas.

if your looking to get rid of the rivets mold them into the body. Like you said attach em and fill with bondo. Down side is if you need to change out cause you hit something or something hit you it turns into a pain in the a**.
