Well thanks for the input guys. Dont worry the plan for the car will be well rounded. It will be done right, not half assed. I kinda of want a GT class styled car. Thats the goal right now.

For a good wide body kit for the 240 you are looking to spend around 3 to 4 thousand dollars just for the kit then it has to be installed and painted.

Yeah the cost is deffiantely a question, but if it is going to be a year long project car maybe I can make it fit the budget. There are other pros in my situation which also allow me to consider the kit

well I hope to see pictures of it when it is done, I have thought of the widebody kit myself, but have decided on going with the GP Sports G-four kit instead.

Widebodies are at least more appropriate on 240s than most of the cars they end up on. Just make sure you run the correct wide wheels to match. Nothing is uglier IMO than a cheesy widebody with massive fenders tucking over skinny little wheels. There are also all different syles of widebody. The Vertex Ridge widebody kit is #1 I think, clean and badass. Or the C-West which is just mean as hell, and also all metal I belive (less bondo). Or you could just go for some nice clean flares, like Non Fujita's s14a. Then there's the exotic supercar look (probably the haviest) like Jaquemond kits, which are only really appropriate and available for hatchback 240s. If you don't have a big turbo upgrade, huge brakes, and insane wheels to go along, don't get widebody yet. PS: Jspec has some great wheels specifically for widebody for sale right now- if you are gonna do this, buy them now for cheap!

Take a look at http://www.importfan.com (GTP Int'l). They are currently offering the meanest, AUTHENTIC JDM wide-body kits on the market. Yashio Factory (50mm WIDER KIT!), Ikeya Formula kit, Vertex, Rays, NISMO, C-WEST, BN Sports, etc. They are No. 1 at importing Hardcore JDM parts for EVERYTHING! They also have a phone # on the page where you can give them a direct call to their cust. serv. dept. in So. Cali. And yes, they do sell to the public.
