I was wondering? Do your wideband readings move around alot? I get mine set at 14.7 and then start to drive around and it will start to change at every rpm. What I mean is that when I set it at low throtel point Its fine but if I press the gas pedal down to a a different level during acceleration the reading isn't 14.7 anymore. It sometimes goes to 13 or 15. I also see at idel that i'm at 14.3-14.8 and other times it goes to 10 and then levels off around 13. Do any one have these problems?

WBO2 readings do tend to fluctuate a little bit, but yours seems to be fluctuating a little more than normal if I am understanding you right. While the RPMS are not changing, a point or so fluctuation is no big deal. If you are wobbling betwen 10 and 15 at idle though then you definitely have a problem.

If you are just talking about output changes while you are accelerating, that is normal. It is pretty common for an engine to run slightly lean right after you increase throttle (this can be tuned out, of course), and then gradually catch up. Is this a turbo car or no? Stock ECU? Whats your setup?

Ka24det motor. I'm running a smaller volvo turbo. I don't no the trim or anything. Its made for a 2.5 L volvo motor. Stock air mass for now, stock ecu. custom fuel rail with 42lb injectors. I know that kinda big, but thats what I had. SAFC 2, wideband O2, fpr with a 1:1 fmu. pressure is at 37.5 psi. running 6-10 lbs of boost.

The motor goes into wierd modes. Sometime idel will be just fine, but all of a sudden it will go rich like to 10 and other times it goes real lean like to 17. Its almost like a cycle. I have my safc maxed at -50 just to keep it from running to rich but then it runs to lean once and awile. I just cant get it set well. HAve any thoughts?

When you aren' reading between 14-15:1 under accel anymore, you just entered open loop. Its normal.

Idle sounds pretty good to me. It will rich out a little bit right after you come off the gas, but if it levels out to 14-15:1, then damn, I want your car.LoL

Even with Dec air setting, right after I get off the gas, my wideband will read lean all the way down, then once I get to 900rpm, it goes to 10:1 and climbs to 15:1. Then my open BOV causes it to lean out to like 18:1, go back to 14-15 after a while.

But if the car feels like it is running well, I doubt you have a problem. Usually you know if there is a problem by feel.

Mine would idle at at ~10-11:1 with the ac off. With it on, it would jump up to stoich.

I thought it was the walbro's extra fuel pressure at idle that was making it really rich. I guess now I know.
