i have recently purched r23 calipers front and rear and now i need to clean and prep for one or the other Powder Coated or a spray on finish which would be the best way to go. and what is a good method fore cleaning the calipers i have heard of many different way like using gimp or break cleaner or use gas which would be the best way to go.

First, WTF is an R23?

Second, get them powder coated. Usually, you'll just need to take them in disassembled and they'll do the cleaning.

If you want to save money, just buy some dupli-color brake caliper hi-temp paint and do it yourself. It will cost you less than $20 and it will last for years.
