hey people looking for some help my firends swears by this site. i drove this 240 with a stock RB20DET swaped in it. Runs strong i think first rb20 i have drove it is 1990 240sx hatch - 85,000 miles on an Rb20det swap from Venus Auto - Front mount intercooler - boost gauge - Razo turbo timer - Godspeed Coilovers - 14 in oldschool BBS rims with 10 offset - VLSD from a 300zx rear end - Wired for subs - New front brakes - clean title

Only bad thing is the cluster doesn't work. But has a tach hooked up and have the oil pressure and water temp guages that need to be installedguy is asking 4300 but i know i can get 3500 bc i have to smog with is no bigg bc washington has no smog. but is it worth it need some advice

up to you. if it runs good and has no major faults and you wanna spend 3.5 on it go for it.

just make sure you check for all the normal rust etc etc before you drop money on it.

$3500, RB20, if it runs good and looks good, then it should be a no brainer. Although I'm not much a fan of RB20's.

the goods is the outside doesnt look too bad and it has an rb20 i know some people dont like them but the sound of an inline 6 is sweet and it looks like a good start for a project. the bad is that you dont know exactly how hard the owner has run the car but if i had the cash id go for it. just make sure you drive it and see that it feels right if possible take it to a mechanic or have someone go with you to make sure you dont get hosed!!hope this helps and good luck

2K for the Supra??? Wow, if it's real - scoop it! The black 240 is nice, but the seller seems wishy-washy. My opinions.

I'd offer him $2500 ... Doesn't look that great to me for the asking price.

Damn, that's low ballin for an RB20 swapped car... you're gonna get laughed at with that kinda offer. I'd aim for between $3500 to $3800 as long as the body checks out fine.

OP, stop making all these threads.

Laugh or no laugh ... do you have any idea how many deals I've made by "low ballin"? Some people if they are desperate to sell or another situation drives them, will accept your offer. Usually a seller's price is not the lowest they'll take, even if they say it's FIRM. Plus, it's on Craig's List, which means you can't even see the car other than in pics unless you're local. If you want to see the car you'll be paying travel expenses and/or a third party to check it out. I wouldn't spend that kind of money and not physically see the car. Just because it's an engine swap, doesn't mean it runs good or is mechanically sound. Plus, even in these pics the car doesn't look too good. Look at the lower front bumper damage; seller also says it's a "rattle can" paint job, so who knows what's lurking underneath that cloak. Car doesn't look clean in the picture (see engine bay), so I can image what it would be like in person. "Old school" BBS? Okay, if you like them. The freakin' dash looks like it's falling apart (see around AC controls). Sorry, not my preference for that price. So laugh if you want ... I'm not the one making the offer.
