i said get the ecu because that's the first thing people always ask for when a car is totaled. and this car is without doubt, TOTALED.

this is from a site that i assume is the same accident as the pics match.

Quote »my Uncle had a few drinks while out to eat dinner, then got behind the wheel of this car. he and a friend were driving up the entrance ramp to the Tollway in Dallas, Tx at a speed of 80 mph. the streets were wet and he lost control of the vehicle, slamming into a telephone pole and then a guardrail, before finally flipping the car. it slid for several feet (i'm not sure of the approx. at this time), before coming to a rest upside down, with his head against the asphalt. this model viper was not a hardtop. fortunately, both he and his friend are alive today.

the viper had to have inflatable air bags put beneath it to free my uncle and his friend. fortunately both were wearing seatbelts. he now owns another new viper, with a hardtop. i have yet to hear that he drives it over 55 mph. this wreck not only almost took his life, but scared it right out of him. i can't say for sure that it scared him enough to not get behind the wheel agian after drinking, but i sure hope so.

this car was donated to the Plano Police Dept, in Plano, Tx, and is now used as part of their Drinking Awareness program.[/quote]

there is no logical reason to drink and drive , none at all , but like the street raceing punks, drunks have no concern for the people in that minivan a ways up the road , selfish destructive bastards

Wow, 80mph isnt even that fast. Well, not fast enough to do THAT I would think! Then again, 10mph can be deadly when you're pissed....

10 mph into a solid barrier without airbags is friggin violent and can be fatal. Keep that in mind, esp those of you who drive older / smaller cars.

Anyone who survives an impact into anything over 60 mph is straight up blessed.
