i ran my walbro without a FPR for a few months. i didn't drive it, all of about maybe an hour or two combined since i've had the engine in the car. yet i've gone through 3 or 4 sets of spark plugs with this thing lol. so, a few weeks ago i installed my NISMO Type-A FPR and set the pressure to 36psi, and it runs close to stoich.

i though to myself "those plugs are probably funked"..and not to my suprise, they were! i changed them this morning at 7am (excited i get the car out today) with some NGK V-Power plugs. haven't started it yet, but i hope it runs more stoich that it was running. btw, im only using a narrowband autometer a/f ratio gauge. oh, and these plugs were in and ran for a total of probably 30 to 45 minutes.

^^get a Fuel pressure regulator if you are running a walbro, its a good investment lol

lucky you lol i have my Fuel pressure and everything right with the fpr, but it still runs rich as hell..probably from running rich for so long with the stock fpr and it probably killed the O2 sensor..
