What are the main advantages of changing over to 5 lug from 4 on the 240sx....besides the wheel applications, why else would you swap or why have you swaped...thanks for your input.........Z

But really, I needed Z brakes, so I bought them, then I needed new wheels to clear them, so I needed wheels, but I didn't want to buy nice wheels, only to have to buy another pair when I went 5 lug, so I just got the 5 lug wheels now. Oh and I got a set of S14 SE wheels. Pimpy++

You didn't "need" new wheels. Spacers and longer studs work fine. Although the thought of buying some shiny new black wheels did cross my mind when mine wouldn't clear.

Ah yes. I trust spacers about as much as I trust Gray Davis.

I know people who have had wheels fall off, and this person is somebody very well respected in the 240 industry.

So, I will stay away from spacers. Plus my wheels are gay anyways.

4Lug can't handle high power applications. If you are going to be making 400+ it would be a good idea to get 5lug, if you like keeping wheels on your car. Also you can get bigger brakes with 5lug hubs, that's another advantage and main selling point.
