We struggle to drive the G-35 in more ways than oneWe struggle to be sane with it, when we know we can'tWe struggle to be ordinary on the roads, and thus we create a tall orderWe struggle to drive below 3000RPM, and we end up being a lie to ourselvesWe struggle to keep the cops ticket away from us, and it is ever so presentWe struggle to keep insane drivers away form us, but we can'tWe struggle to do the right thing with the G-35, but it impossibleWe struggle not to drive it to work, by we are only fools for it.

Who are we kidding, the G-35 or ourselves?Who is the fool, the road or our undying desire to drive this machine?Who is the victim, we or our image? This demon is wedded to our souls

Yes, we have learned that there is price to pay for owning the G-35That price cannot be humanly quantifiedIn the end, we must decide how we must live with this demon of our souls. No man can leave with a demon in peaceWe must struggle and suffer in different ways with the G-35We would like to keep the demon in check, but can we?If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.God save our souls

.........A poem from Jackoin honor of every owner of a G-35, who must struggle with one thing or the other, both intrinsic or extrinsic, with the priceless machine called a G-35.

Oh wow Is it bad that this is the hardest I've laughed all day today? Or maybe it was just that bad of a bad day.

In light of this poem, I thought about this while I went for a drive this evening. Do any of you just go out and drive when you get mad or frustrated...for like 2 hours? Doesn't have to be the G. Or am I just odd? I dunno, for me, its usually relaxing and clears my head before I do or say something stupid.

My first exposure to love and lustful poetry directed at a machine a la Shakespeare, Lord Byron or even Khalil Gibrahn

Now you see, this is why God created us, to domesticate you guys!

Now, how many female teachers were involved in your formative years? How many female were involved in your learning to read and write? This alone has domesticated you beyond the most basic lymbic system structures we call a brain.

SVTCOBRA and rn79870, I had to escape from myself for a while. I felt trapped by the many restrictions (intrinsic and extrinsic)that deny us the true joy and freedoms of driving the G-35 the way it was designed to be driven. I freed myself for a minute or two. What can I do? I cannot remain incarcerated for eternity. I must set free myself from my soul, sometimes.

You're assuming that we can read and write, or for that matter, have been housebroken. I'm afraid we're really going to disappointment you.

OOOH, there were many!!! I used to have such a good time!!Actually, I just self censored myself.....I have a daughter probably not much younger than you. I have a fantastic wife too! She doesn't put up with any of my Sh**.She is a very strong will, determined, and supportive spouse. We have a great 50 50 relationship. We lean on each other when we need to. I took her 100 miles away from all of her family. I've gone to quilt shows, fabric stores, shopping...etc...So, I suppose in 'real life' she has domesticated me to some extent. However, I still enjoy a 4 day fishing trip with my fishing buddies where we don't bathe and smell of beer and cut-bait....

I agree whole heartidly with the tickets.....I just received a speeding ticket going 110 mph....and I one dont speed and was not paying attention to the odometer....i guess the G is just to smooth.....we'll see what happen I hired a lawyer as this is my first ever ticket. Maybe if i was driving a honda accord this would have never happened as I would have felt the speed.

Okay Jacko, I have to ask, about how old are you. Narrow it down to a decade for me. Some of the stuff you write makes me think you are a teenager, and some makes me think 50+. I'm just curious. Most of us know eachother fairly well, and know how old we all are, and what we all do for a living. You have been rather elusive. Like I said, just curious.

And since tone of voice can't be heard in typing, I'm kinda laughing while asking this, with a smile on my face.

I'm guessing there's some Barry Manilow playing in the background...

Poetry? Dammit, now I gotta go back out in the garage and turn a wrench, fart, and scratch myself.

Knock that sh#t off, Jacko.

p.s. I'm full of crap... I'm as domesticated as they come...

hellz yeah. or when i need to think really hard about life or not think at all. i play the game called drive till i get lost. i pick a direction and drive tht way till i think i should turn around. sometimes i wish i could just drive off and not come back, but then i think of all the responsibilties i have and that just freaks me out cause i know as i get older i will get more and more. then i worry about getting old. Then i wish even more i could just leave, but then i realize that people will miss me and wonder where i went..... Then thats when i turn around. Lol wow long post, but in short yes i love driving.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I passed a gas station...gotta try and keep my sanity some how.

The reason I ended up turning around was because I got to a construction site and it was stop and go on the freeway.

Everyday i get off work and i'm thankful i don't have to drive home in a honda or neon. I would probably consider wrapping an econocar around a tree(If it was powerful enough) if i had to drive it after working 52(sometimes 64) hours a week.

Thank god for Infiniti.

I'm guessing Jacko3 is still in his Twenties. While he is an excellent writer his posts about street racing makes me think he still has a few hairs you know where.

I knew just by the title that this thread was his. I never pass up a thread started by JACKO3.

I'm still waiting to see if he actually introduces himself to us, or just hides in the shadows as he has done for 3 months now...

Still curious as to what "the little Nissan" is?

Have a popcorn on me . I think I am reasonably old enough to appreciate the youth in me, and yet, able to embrace the essence of age I am endowed.

My little Nissan is my chariot on 4 wheels, and grazes on fossil fuels.
