Why was thread 4 Cameron thread closed

Why on earth was the Thread 4 Cameron closed? it is serving as an open forum for the people involved with Cameron to get in contact /w him while he is over in Japan.. I see absolutely no reason for its closing!

how do you figure he was advertising?? he was just letting us know there are a lot of SRs over there... I wouldn't call this board gay, most everything I've learned that is theoretical came from this board. I love NICO, I just don't get why that thread was closed, but whatever I guess I'll just have to use screwed up email that takes forever to use.

and to answer your question chachi.. yes thats his correct email... and things concerning us (those he owes engines to) is HARDLY advertising.. we all bought our engines like 5 months ago.. he doesn't need to try to sell us on the idea....

it looks to be open to me unless its a new thread with the same name. Anyway yes it should stay open for you guys with he owes motors to. As far as advertizing well maybe about getting engines on hand and setting up deals but the one about the T4 manifold is the one that could be looked at as advertising. Even if he did not start the thread he did say he will have them for sale soon. Well thats my .02 and hope it works out for you guys this time.

Let me make something abundantly clear.

If anyone wants to do business with NICO members as a group, whether it be offering products, engine swaps or service, they need to contact an Administrator to get it cleared. Even with all the advertising we currently have, it's still barely enough to cover the bills to keep this place running. Our advertising costs are very reasonable for the exposure that is available, and why in the world would someone PAY for advertising if we allowed folks to throw it up here for free? It's not fair to our paying business owners - I'm sure you all can agree on that.

Also, the same rules for this business apply - If people need to get in touch with Cameron, they can do it off-board. That's the PROPER way to conduct business anyway, unless the business owner is unwilling to maintain regular contact with his paying customers...

SpecV, I take it you'd be happier elsewhere? If so, I can arrange that. I don't intend to have to explain why we do the things we do, so you do your part and we'll do ours.
