Whether it be springs of coilovers.

I noticed a couple people using Eibach and I've seen Tanabe make some springs.

As for coils, I've seen D2 or BC?

Stock sport setup, lol.
The flange on my y-pipe already scrapes some of the higher speed bumps.
I might look into better shocks/struts when the time comes... Which is quickly approaching.

Mine is still stock though clearly that's not the norm in here, LOL. I don't race or drive wildly (wink wink) and I don't want to lower my car so stock suits me. When it comes time to replace I will probably get factory replacement or maybe a better quality factory-like replacement but not a racing style. I still have the 18in wheels as well. But, if you're considering lowering, or a adding racing type suspension - you came to the right place. Have a look at all the threads regarding suspensions - plenty of advise and reviews in here and plenty of experienced peeps to answer your questions.

BC Racing BR-Type Coilovers. Very happy although my front passenger side has a small pop every time I turn the wheel max to the right (pre-load is loose). This is because the upper collars aren't tight enough and the spring rotates inside the perch when you full lock. It's not bad for the spring, just annoying. I've tried tightening it so many times and no luck. You have to basically make sure the pre-load is proper.

One of these days I might loosen everything completely and clean the thread and try to retighten again.

Otherwise I'm fine.

BC-BR for me!!!! Rides great, set your own dampening, set your own height. but I am experience what I think is a rear knock or clunk. I think its my rear sway bar links (Hopefully, since they look rusted out) then I should be completely satisfied.

I have D2's and I too am experiencing a funny knock but I believe it's my bolts. I do not think the bolts were tightened to spec since I used the electric impact drill. I'm planning on taking the wheels off again and using my 24" breaker bar to go over all the nuts one more time.

I don't think coilovers are all known to make noises for me it was an installation issue.

I am on Tein S techs and very happy, I only wanted to drop it to clear the gap. Rides smooth just like stock. I've only had them for a month so I suspects they will lower a bit more when they break in.
