I know I'm not the only one who's noticed these super fast advertisements in between page loads. I understand it takes money to keep this forum we oh so love up and running, but the super fast ads are just pointless. They come and go way too fast to even know what's being advertised. So what's the deal?

If this is a repost, please delete. I haven't been on in a couple of days, so I don't know whether this has already been addressed.

I see, you want these ads to be up longer so this way advertisers get more ad time...

If NICO can make a buck or two by splashing a .05 second ad...I don't even want to know. I would like an explanation if those ads become longer lasting or use a timer, other then that... Eh.

I'm glad you posted this.

I noticed today as well, but I've been surfing mostly on my girlfriends laptop and I sorta figured it was just her computer. (She downloads stupid trial versions of games and I figured she just spammed up her comp.)

I get Nico needs to advertise as well...but wow these are fast. But I guess at least the don't bother me as much as the ones where you have to click "skip this ad".

haha

I see nothing? But my pages change pretty quick...

Ad Block plus or firefox might be taking them out as well?

I was going to say you guys have something wrong with your computer, as this topic has come up before and it was just the particular users computers...but it seems a lot of you guys are seeing them.

IE or Firefox?

I'm getting them in both Firefox at home and IE at school. They're not really that bothersome, as long as they don't run longer times in the future. I think it only pops out for like 0.5 of a second, but anylonger than that and it will start getting annoying.

NICO for the longest time blamed their member's computers for a similar advertising scheme.

Turned out it was NICO. Is this a similar case?

I have had ads from zwinky.com and classmates.com. The latter actually loaded the full page and wouldn't let me leave the page. I had to go back and try again.

Open multiple NICO TabsLike go to the main index.then newtab every subformOn the last one actually click on it.The ad will pop up for atleast 0.5 seconds.

Last night it was fully sik, the ads would load up regardless for me....but now its alittle harder, I have to perform the multiple tabs trick to see them.

I came to gen chat to make this thread, glad I saw it before making one.

Zwinky? What kind of names are companies coming up with nowadays?

I also get the classmates.com one.

If I'm not mistaken I got it on another forum as well, but I might have just switched to a Nico tab as it was loading.
