Iiiinteresting. Certainly explains why my NA felt like a frisky little toy while my NC is like a baby Z or Corvette.

Also, because of the season, remember to grab a trombone brush and clear your drains to prevent interior flooding. My passenger side was sloshing with an inch of water tonight. :( I ended up on the ground in the wet at 1am with a metal coathanger performing a "late term procedure" on the car. I wish I had a garage.

Otherwise, I enjoy the crap out of this thing (finally!) even though I still miss the NA. I've come to understand that this is an MX5, not a Miata, and appreciate it for what it was intended to do.

I cleaned my rain drains when I first got my car. I couldn't believe the s*** that found its way in there.
Air fresheners, leaves, the f*** lens to a pair of sunglasses, etc.

It says in the thread Jesda linked that the drains were changed in the later models. I will still check mine out. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm seriously considering looking for skinnier rims and tires.

So less width, more revs, and more sidewall. Sounds like a win to me. They're bringing loose back.
