An interesting take on why the President's Polling is dropping...

i think the argument has alot of merit. unfortunately, there isnt a whole lot that the government can do to alter the market. even if they opened the reserves, OPEC will only slash production to keep value high. I suspect speculation as well as the continual devaluation of the dollar is what is really at fault here.

Wait. I'm nit quite convinced that President Obama's numbers are down, relatively speaking.

There's been a spike in gas prices and that lines up with the dropping if his numbers, but that looks kinda coincidental to me. He's coming off of a January high - probably because Republicans couldn't campaign as hard against him once they had legislative responsibility. It looks like we're gradually coming down off of that, to where we were before. I expect his approval/disapproval to sit in the low single digits for the rest of this term unless something remarkable happens.

IB - I've noticed your I/O buttons might be a little too close, or your fingers a bit too big? :D

During the day, I use an iPod touch whose internal accelerometer has failed. Meaning I'm always in portrait, and only go landscape when a certain function defaults me there.

So, yes.

You should get to a screen that has you in portrait and then lock it. You can do this by double-tapping the home-button, and navigating to the left. You'll see, then tap a little lock icon.

I went to my photos, and it won't rotate. I double-tap, slide over to the left, and lock the orientation. Now it won't rotate, and it makes sense. I double-tap, slide left, and unlock it. Still won't rotate.
