This right here is the main reason I think racing should be kept on the track. All you guys going out and street racing this is why you shouldn't. This is a damn shame and now that means more cops are going to be out busting people like me who sit back and relax when it comes to driving. We have not had a problem with racing until tonight and I'm pissed because now I'm a target for the Police.

awww dude that sounds soo harsh.:(

that reminds me of the spring...there was a 240 and a caviler street racing...roads were kinda wet and ish..n-e ways, the road was curved...so 240 lost control...smashed into the caviler and then the 240 smahsed into an electrical post :(

awww it was soo horrible, there were 3 people in the 240 one died...soo horrible...they were young too like between 17-23 :(

u couldn't even tell whut the cars were in the pic..they looked soo mashed up :(

i agree..race on the track (but i know its hard to resist the temptation)

it's unfortunate that people have to die before others start to listen.

damn thats pritty bad but a few months ago this girl (16) was going to the beach to have a Bday party for her friend (just turned 16) and there was a guy from her work or somthing with them that bought them a keg (21+) so they are driving along with a full keg in the trunk.. they go into a construction zone doing like 60MPH (speed limit is somthing like 35-40) and she loses controle hits a side rail.. the kegs flys out of the car and lands ontop of another car killing the guy driving it (he was driving his mom and some other ppl to dinner) and one of the girls died (might be more then on it was a few months ago.. dont remember completly) i dont know where im goin with this.. but i think its all there...

There was a girl here that died back in Jan. I believe it was. These two kids were racing on the interstate and one crossed the meadian and smashed into her car and killed her. Then the news jumped on the "modified cars" but mostly only showed integras. The parents of the girl are suing the boy that was racing. There's also a cool little cross on the interstate where she died with her name on it. I get to see it everyday since I travel that way a lot making my deliveries. Stupid kids. The girl never did anything wrong.

Is another sad story. I can say that yes street racing is bad and it should be on the track.

but its still gonna happen kuz people want to prove something and street racing is like clubbin. its addictive.

i remember my street racing days... i loved the atmosphere, the sights, the cars. i loved makin fun of the thugs and the ricers, and the tough guys in camaros and mustangs.i remember *****ing about how every body things street racing is so dangerous and how no one got hurt and blah blah blah.i remember wanting to race my beetle there, when i got it done, but the streets being completely shut down for a few months after an old guy came out of his house and started screaming at everyone... no one listened to him and everyone left him alone, but no one left either.. he wound up having a heartattack from it.i remember that whole ordeal angering me, and thinking we should have the right to street race because we blocked off the whole street so the only people who would get hurt was us...

i remember being stupid very well

i havent gone to the races in a long time, and i dont plan on going back because im sure i will get caught in it again

i do admit to an occasional late night flaunt with some punk on an empty road... im still stupid.. but at least im getting better

its a damn shame people have to get caught up in other peoples stupidity... im just glad mine has cost no one thier life or property.

heres to hoping that we arent singled out for shi* like this because of clear lens' and loud exhaust. and heres to hoping that this world will eventualy grow from the ignorance that all the "hot rodders" arent street racing thug types. and learn about the enthusiasts family out there.

its an ignorant world we live in... an ignorant world full of stupid people...im done with my pointless blather now -pete s

i have to get in on this, i detest street racing, i may tease people, but i do it well withing the speed limit and very very rarely. as long as i get my autoxing fix, i noticed i don't have the desire to drive recklessly on the street as long as there are dumb people, there will be street-racing fatalities

keep your ego at the track
