Does anyone know why my navi froze when i inserted a updated navi disc in my 06 M35X?

7.0 to 7.2 cd. Now the navi arrow will not move and is stuck in the last place. Bluetooth still works fine!

I tried to insert the old 7.0 and did not work. Still stuck!

There is a TSB for it. You will probably have to take it in.

What is a TSB? Do I have to go to dealer for it or do everything online?

Will the TSB solve my problem and is it easy to do?

I am suppose to go to dealer on Friday but really trying to avoid the bill!

Are you still under warranty?

TSB (technical service bulletin) are basically instructions/cheat sheets put out by the factory to help dealers solve common problems. They are also typically done under warranty and covered by Infiniti, so you should not have to pay a dime for it.

Just take it in and refer them to the ITB07038 I posted.

You can also call Infiniti customer service to verify if your car is covered by the TSB - they typically go by VIN number.

Hope this helps, and let us know what transpired.

The thing is my car is not under warranty anymore. Just went over 60K. That's why I do not want to take it to the dealer for it.

Do you think I can fix it myself with the info of TSB?

many TSB's are covered under quietly implemented "extended warranties".....talk to your dealer.

So no matter what I still have to take it to dealer and just let them know about ITB07038 and they should no what to do?

This sucks! I really hope this will be covered by any existing warranties or I will see a ridiculous bill.

I thought the TSB's are "do it yourself info"
