Hey all!! Got a few things done to the car, not too much as of yet (mainly because of work/having Eve, pictured). The windows are getting tinted bronze 30% May 31st. There are new spark plug wires/battery/alternator/water pump on top of the pre-existing work.Ain't she precious? Future 240sx lover in the making :icesangel

Interested in the bronze tint. . was considering it on my S14, 'cause I think it'd go better than just black. . It's green with tan leather

TY all... Yeah, found a semi-local place that's supposedly the best for it. I asked for a quote for all windows tinted, they looked my car up and down and said 190 before taxes. Also supposed to have a lifetime warantee (sp?). Yes, Herbie is the older one at having him 3+ years now :) . And a big TY to NAthan for the Sparco seat price/idea.

Anywho, working on the car today. Few things have gone wrong lately:-3 leaky fuel injectors-1 leaky gasket-Pretty much all bulbs coming off because of screws falling out of the panel from melting-Brakes starting to squeak (front)-Speedometer working intermittently (sp?)-1 frustrated owner :(

FOr an '89 with 204,600 mi on it though, it ain't too bad, is it?:pface

Eve made it into a baby photo contest! I know it's shameless promotion of your child to boost your ego ("see, my baby really IS that purty!"), but I entered it on a whim, and am pretty stoked she got in. No, I'm not going to turn into one of those parents that enters their child into everything (too much to pay in therapy bills later on LOL). But check it out! :)

P.S.- Slowly getting there with Herbie... SOme work later, he gets more than 18 MPG... (when the leaks were horrid, it actually got that bad.) HE even has a new left buttlight panel. Oh BTW, how do s14 seats work in a car like mine? Jamie's getting some for me next week, so I was just curious.

That's cool. We found a pair that are in pretty good condition at an auto wreckers of all places, and I was hoping that they'd fit if we went and got them LOL. Glad to hear I'll be getting an upgrade (I commute about 90% of my life, hence the high mileage on the car. The seats on it now are okay... passenger side excellent, driver's side worn and starting to lose some stuffing LOL). I rambled a bit for these posts, didn't I?With the baby contest, if she wins for one week but not the month, she gets a prize(generally a keepsake thing or useful thing). If she won for the whole month, there'd be a 50.00 gift certifficate for toys r us or babies r us plus a hand sketched version of the winning pic drawn up. :icesangel

Nice work and congrats!!! She is a cutie for sure!!!

So, I'm not sure the s14 seats bolt up right. I hope they do, but I thought the floor pan was different between the two chassis.

TY guys. And Jester: the name Eve Jasmine, or the name Herbie for the 240? LOL Haven't managed to pick up the seats yet (partents went for vacation and decided to take the stationwagon with them). But now, I have to go get the right tailight panel as it's melted/not working properly (RIGHT after I go fix the left one LOL).
