This board is technically the "CA" board.........dual or single cam, just nobody in here owns the single cam (give or take a few lurkers who will undoubtedly speak up after I post this).

did you have a question that you were wanting answered? One of our moderators (NeedCAforS13) owns an S12, and I think is at least somewhat knowledgeable about that particular motor.

I know some about it, but nothing super intricate.

I'll say here what I said there. I agree with 90% of what you say, just don't flame and it's fine.

Don't really want to start this up here. Just wanna know why we "fail for technical konwledge" because some members are kids who don't know better.

And "because we don't know what we're talking about" isn't really validation.

I said "knowledgable engine people", but now that you mention it there is a shortage of general mechanical knowledge on that board as well. There are a few very intelligent folks who post......it's the rest who ruin it. There just seems to be an overwhelming "ignorant ricer" under current on there.....when the smart people arent posting...well........someone has to post........and what gets posted from what I had seen is either garbage, mis-information, or a decent post ruined by ignorant ricers chiming in about s.h.i.t. they have no idea about but they speak up anyways. Maybe the forum has evolved?...but what I had seen when I lurked a few years ago and was in the market for an S12....well......it is what it is.....it was what it was.
