is it a steady pulse or an actual sequence, if its a constant pulse its usualy an indicator of a dead rom.might have some codes, try pulling them.

do you know if the ecu has been chipped? you might want to crack it open, because the ecu will blink when you have a bad chip. Also, check the orientation of the chip (the notch on the chip matches the notch on the ecu. If the notch matches, you may need a new stock chip burnt by someone reliable (I have some, Carl H should, just let one of us know)

can a chip just go bad, because i was just driving it and it just died like it lost spark, cheked and it has spark a few hours later and it had it,but isnt hitting the injectors, the next day a few times it acted like it wanted to start but wouldnt???? i had just washed the engine (left it running )but drove it a few blocks after that and thats when it died

thats one of those hard problems to diagnose, make sure that ALL wires are in good shape, had a friend's maf wire melt to something, grounding it out and frying the ecu. I've also had my fuel pump intermitently die which was the LAST thing i thought of lol. good luck w/ your search
