so i finally got the swap completed and running, seems like everything is connected and fine but when I drive around it feels slow. the first time around the block was really slow. checked the ecu and it wasnt plugged in all the way. made a huge difference but still doesnt feel as fast as it should be. shouldnt an rb25det equipped s13 at least be able to run like low 14 1/4 mile times? my 240 feels like it wouldnt even run a 15 sec pass. what can i check to make sure its running correctly?

well if every thing is stock....use a timing gun and adjust your cam angle sensor. Assuming you do not have a boost leak.

ok well i adjusted to fuel pressure... was at about 60! now its at about 37. I adjusted the timing but I think i went to the wrong mark. I went to the 4th mark which i think is 20 degrees....shouldnt it be the third mark, 15 degrees? well i drove it anyway and I did notice a difference but doesnt feel like its quite there yet. im starting to think I have a boost leak now. I still need to change the spark plugs. will running nothing after the downpipe affect how its boosting? my boost gauge hasnt gotten in yet so I dont know what im at.

You will know if you have a boost leak even a little leak will cause the engine to surge and sputter a lot when boosting...so if it doesnt do that then look else where...for your problem...

if youre running the actual downpipe you should be fine on that end. if youre running just the turbo elbow, i had problems just warm starting the engine to check my wiring like that. the o2 sensor gets hit with fresh air making it send in too much fuel.
