CA motor mounts or KA/SR mounts?

KA/SR, especially if you've got NISMO or such upgraded ones, you're in for a world of pain with regards to forcing the bastard in place.. CA mounts fit like a glove.

which side is the shorter mount on?

yeah, it's going to be a ***** w/ KA ones, more so if you made the mistake of getting NISMO ones, it's doable but if you can wait I'd say try to order up some CA NISMO mounts, Courtesy Nissan supposedly stocks them now.. they're 11210-RS520 and 11220-RS520 (make sure you get *-RS520, *-RS540 is KA/SR)

might also want to be sure you have them on the correct sides.. they look like they might be backwards now that I'm looking again. the heatshielded one should go under the turbo, I believe. Also, the short one should be on the driver's side, tall on the passenger.

it may be that turned around backwards they're sitting on the positioning tabs and not sitting all the way down, too.

The motor is supposed to tilt like that, but I concur they are switched backwards.

Well I'm late, but I have to concur with others, my first thought was that the motor mounts were on the wrong sides. That heat sheild should be on the turbo side of the motor.

so what didn't fit on that top mount manifold? did you try to get a refund? off topic, but I wanted to know... I was thinking of using one of them... and I've heard they are good with exchanging things that don't fit.

we didnt even bother to try it after we saw the welds and quality, we went with a FULLRACE manifold and the diference was night and day, you really do get what you pay for. i bought a SSauto down pipe and the flange was about 45* clocked wrong and my buddy gave me a SSauto o2 extention and it aimed toward the rail on the unibody. on top of all this the ssautocrap guy gave me negative feedback.

SS has a new design out that looks a bit more like that manifold you posted than their old one. I think I'm gonna buy one and see how it fits.
