Why is my cam scorched?

Any Idea why my SR20 is tearing up two lobes on the intake cam? This is the farthest lobe from the oiling tube intake side. The cam lobe next to it is also slightly scorched, but not near as bad as this one.

I replaced the oiling tube with a brand new part, new GTIR oil pump, great oil pressure (90 cold, 30 hot at idle). I have a cometic HG.

Hard to say. What type of oil are you running? Have you always ran the same oil? Done any head work recently? Metal shavings in oil?
