Why is it that no matter how much you love the car you drive, you always have your eye on something else. For some reason, I'm just having a FIT for a Corvette. I love my Z. Everybody loves my Z. I really want to go drive a 'Vette!

I won't get a new one. I haven't bought a used car since I was in my 20's. I'm looking at a '12 right now. I figure with the big new StingRay about to come out, the C6's will be going fairly cheap. I really like the C6. Nice lines.

I MISS A V8!!

It's called "cars." We all have "cars" pretty bad. I have it ... very badly.

Sometimes it sucks being enthusiasts.

Just remember this - while you're having a fit for the "latest and greatest", you will miss your "present" should you have to get rid of it to obtain the "latest and greatest".

Every Nissan I have ever gotten rid of I have ended up regretting (Sentra SE-R Spec V, Altima Coupe 3.5 6MT). Trying not to have to do the same with the one I have now.

I traded a 69 Mach 1 in on that POS......

I keep looking but it seems my tastes keep getting more and more costly. I won't choose another brand until I see what the Q60 is going to be next year.

I might be about over it. I think it was more like "this car is paid for.....what else can I get",

I'm not saying I would buy one, but I want to go test drive a BMW. I have never driven one. I'm afraid my budget would make it to where I would not be able to get all the goodies that I would want. I must have a good stereo. That is a big must. I have reached a point in my life that I need to think more about retirement than having a $50k car. :tisk:

I'm getting a replacement for the sedan this year. Probably a '11 or '12 G37x. I was out with another NICOnut yesterday and he snapped this pic of the ZL1

Is that you in the background?

Sometimes I like the Camaro...sometimes I just think it needed to stay on the drawing board a little longer.

once i see how the new Q coupe looks like then ill have my final choice of next car... i want to go big though, one step up from a G like a corvette, gtr, m5 level...

BUT i love my current car. still enjoy it like the first day i got it, it's wierd... IDK even if a next level car will be dramaticly better enough to make me spend the extra money. (i know power wise ill be happy, but overall package wise IDK)

Have you had a chance to drive one yet? Maybe if you know someone who can trade with you for a weekend or something like that.
V8's are good, and the Chevy V8's are real good (great power AND mpg's)...but maybe more than a test drive length will help you with your decision. I get to drive my brother's 'Vette every once in a while, and while it is a blast to drive for a short amount of time, I wouldn't want it for my daily driver.
Bimmer's are another story...personally, I don't see the great value of them when compared to Infiniti (or your Z :naughty: ). But then, there's obviously a reason they have been successful...I don't know, I've never had one.

Thanks for the input. My hubby actually had a C5 for about 4 years. I didn't get to drive it much, but when I did...I liked it. It was kinda a POS though. We had a lot of problems with it. To tell you the truth, that is one of my biggest deterants. I have had zero issues with my Z.

Oh....Aud is a nice looking fella!

Yeah, around here Camaros are like a-holes. I bet you $$$$ that Chevrolet will make that current body style for at least 5 more years. You don't see many Zs around here. When I do, I usually wave at whoever is driving it. Usually nice folks.

Why are you clothes baggy? Have you lost weight? I'm back on the Sensa. I always put on about 5 pounds during the winter. When you are only 5' 4", that is a lot. Too much chili, chicken & dumplings and Rotel dip.

;)

Loved my C5. I'll own another one. Minor issues, all easily remedied, and a fun car to boot. Most fun you can have for $20k, period.

Matt, I don't share your interest in the Camaro. Butt-ugly (as are almost all of the "retro-rides").

David's had bad issues. Most were while it was still under warantee though. A couple of times it had to be towed. Something was wrong with the electrical system, and if it sat for more than 3 or 4 days, it wouldn't start. Don't remember if they ever got that right or not.

That was Chris's interest in the Camaro. I like the power and that color was interesting...but there it ended.

Simple fixes. Basically, needs a couple new grounds, and the existing grounds cleaned up and coated with dielectric grease.

30 minutes and $3 in materials. Even the dealers can't get it right - too simple for them. :)

Mine had 5 or 6 little PITA issues, but they were all easily remedied and the car was WAY more enjoyable afterward.
