Why are you surprised that the Tahoe had no problem? Almost bald tires means no decent grip in snow or wet weather! You will slide everywhere.naladude911 wrote:I did get stuck going up my driveway tho in 4HI. It took me 3 hours to get it up, and I had to shovel it out after landing in a snow bank. My dad's tahoe had no problem . This resulted in me getting some new tires (my goodyear fortera's were almost bald) and got bridgestone duelers.
If it is "all ice", less snow will not make a difference, I'd think. Good luck with it.naladude911 wrote:BTW, my plow kinda works. During the storm the plow guy did our driveway and I tried using the plow with as little snow that was left on our driveway. It worked for a bit but I couldnt pull it up the driveway since it was all ice. Ill try again with less snow.
Ok, so to summarize, you brag your ex-mom QX4 is a "beast" in the snow yet you still managed to get it stuck in your own driveway for 3 hours despite having it in AWD. Then after you demonstrated a complete inability to drive in snow, your parents went out and bought you a new set of tires for it.naladude911 wrote:Thursday night the northeast got hit with a HUGE snow storm, with over 2 feet accumulation in some parts. This of course was too much snow for the trees to handle and soon they were falling all over the place, knocking out power for over 28,000 residents. That included me. I lost power for over 2 days, with no heat except our fire place. I had to go shower at club fit to stay clean lol. All of the side roads were pretty much inaccessible for two days, as seen with the following pictures. I had fun driving around on them tho, Nissan Pathfinders/QX4's are beast in the snow. My son did the same exact thing when he took karate classes at age 12. When a students earn a high enough belt, they are invited to assist the instructors with the lower belt kids. Its a fun confidence builder but not a job.troskinatior wrote:He just kicks little kids butts for free.
one day he'll go pro and be in the company of Datte and myself.troskinatior wrote:He just kicks little kids butts for free.

Seriously... How does your plow failing to plow a driveway that has already been plowed count as kind of working?naladude911 wrote:Although I am not paid, my Sensei, Ira, recently promoted me to purple belt, and gave me the duties of a Sempai. Not that a lot of people here in America know what a Sempai is, but it is equally as respected as a Sensei.
Sure I kick little butts. But they aren't always from little people.Mr1der wrote:one day he'll go pro and be in the company of Datte and myself.
Although he doesn't get paid, he also works by taking out the family trash PLUS he brings in the mail from the mailbox! Sometimes without being reminded twice.Dattebayo wrote:

I actually like him. His determination to walk repeatedly into walls face first with his eyes wide open inspires me.krash wrote:dang bubba, you really hate him
